Silver #6 (not Silver)

There is a black stone in a pond of the garden of 銀閣寺 ginkakuji, the Temple of the Silver Pavilion. Many people throw their coins at the stone. It is said that hitting the bull's eye brings a good luck even the coins are not made of silver but aluminum or copper based ally. Is it somewhat silly ?
I heard coins in Trevi Fountain are donated to charity organization. But I don't know where the coins in this pond go.

Yep it's so. In Rome at the Trevi's fountain all the coins are donated to charity organizations... And I was wondering about Ginkakuji... And you know what? I love more Ginkakuji than Kinkakuji...

Yeah, better to throw your coins in a beggars cup at least it may buy some food to fill their stomachs.
