Silver #6 (not Silver)Posted by Hiro (Kyoto, Japan) on 25 October 2011 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. There is a black stone in a pond of the garden of 銀閣寺 ginkakuji, the Temple of the Silver Pavilion. Many people throw their coins at the stone. It is said that hitting the bull's eye brings a good luck even the coins are not made of silver but aluminum or copper based ally. Is it somewhat silly ? Please leave your comments. Critiques will be welcome.
